The Athletes
Seven racers across giant slalom and slalom.
Christian was born and raised in St. Anton am Arlberg, Austria, as the only child of his Austrian mother Margit and his Danish father Jens. From the age of two and a half, he spent his childhood exploring the mountains around St. Anton and was more often ripping through some bushes off-piste rather than cruising groomers. His passion for skiing eventually led him into racing and although he was always a technically gifted skier, it took him some time to find the speed needed in the gates.
That speed came eventually and during his time at the well-known ski high school "Schigymnasium Stams", a couple of years after his first ACL injury, he made the Austrian C team. After graduating from Stams, Christian missed his final two FIS junior seasons due to consecutive ACL injuries and lost his spot on the team. Determined to keep going, he fought his way back onto the Austrian Europa Cup team the following season and a year later made his World Cup debut for Austria in Adelboden, immediately scoring points with an 18th-place finish.
After one season on the Austrian World Cup team and a total of seven years on the Austrian national team, including Austrian national titles in GS and SG, Christian decided in spring 2022 to represent his second nation, Denmark, in the future.
Over the past four years, Christian has been a member of the private team Global Racing and achieved several historic milestones for Denmark:
- 20th in Giant Slalom at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games — the nation's best-ever Olympic result in alpine skiing.
- 12th in the Alpine Combined at the Courchevel 2023 World Championships — the nation's best-ever World Championship result.
- 14th in the World Cup Giant Slalom in Adelboden 2024 — the nation's best-ever World Cup result.
- Victory in the Europa Cup Giant Slalom in Valloire 2023 — the nation's first-ever Europa Cup win.
- Overall victory of the Austria New Zealand Cup Giant Slalom series in 2023 and 2025.
From 2016 to 2022, in addition to being a full-time athlete, Christian earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business at Management Center Innsbruck (MCI).
Why I'm on Redline
Although I have already achieved a decent amount in my career, I know that I have the potential for a lot more. After more than ten years as a professional ski racer and the conclusion of the last Olympic cycle, it became very clear to me what kind of environment I need in order to reach my full potential. I couldn't be happier to have found that environment at Redline Alpine.
We are a small group of people who together create something that is very hard to find in elite ski racing: a culture characterized not only by determination, grit, professionalism and a relentless pursuit of performance, but also by selfless collaboration, discussions and reflections at eye-level and mutual respect, as well as a great deal of fun.
I am certain that this unique culture is a true competitive advantage and will play a major role in the progression of our careers.
Born in Waitsfield, Vermont, Tim grew up skiing in Vermont and Europe, following in the footsteps of his German mother, Traudl Hächer-Gavett. He attended the Green Mountain Valley School in Vermont, followed by an All-American career at Middlebury College. He was then part of Global Racing until its close in 2026.
Why I'm on Redline
I'm on Redline because I feel like I have a lot more to give and to accomplish in ski racing. Redline is giving me the opportunity to continue pushing to the top without the necessity of a national team. I believe Redline has the staff and athletes to help me become the very best.
Born in Boston, MA, Jimmy grew up skiing at Cannon and then Sugarbush, and attended the Green Mountain Valley School (GMVS) in Waitsfield, Vermont. He skied with various levels of the U.S. Ski Team for seven years, with a year on the Dartmouth College team mixed in, before joining World Racing Academy (WRA), an independent team, for the last three years — where he earned his first World Cup starts. He broke his tibia and fibula in 2021 and tore his ACL and meniscus in 2025.
Why I'm on Redline
I'm joining Redline Alpine because I believe I have more left to give ski racing. I love the sport so much, and getting a few World Cup starts only fired me up even more. I love Redline's approach, and I fully believe our team can do something special this season and in years to come.
I'm Étienne Mazellier, a skier born in Québec. I started skiing in Stoneham, a small resort north of Quebec City, and rapidly developed a passion for the sport. After high school, I spent five years on the provincial team and got the opportunity to race all around North and South America and Europe. In 2022, I represented Canada at the World Junior Championships, where I raced every event and came away with Gold in the Team Event. After those five years, I went to the University of Colorado Boulder for two years and was on the national-championship-winning team in March 2024. Last season, I started my own private structure alongside Simon Fournier, and we had a great year in terms of results and fun.

Why I'm on Redline
Make a push for this World Championship year with a group of guys who want to ski fast, work hard, and have fun! Build on some of the positives from the last few seasons outside the national team, and end my career by collaborating with a group of athletes and coaches who share the same values.
I'm Christian Oliveira Søvik. I was born in Brazil but have lived most of my life in Norway. Last year I decided to make the switch to race for Brazil while completing my final year of studies at the University of Denver.

Staff
Ryan Wilson is the Head Coach of Redline Alpine and a former U.S. Ski Team Head World Cup Slalom Coach. His coaching career has also included roles as World Cup Coach with Global Racing, Head FIS Coach and High Performance Director at Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, and Head FIS Coach at Ski & Snowboard Club Vail.
Before transitioning to coaching, Ryan was a 12-point FIS slalom skier and 17-point FIS giant slalom skier before a major injury redirected him from the national team path to the University of Utah. There, he earned degrees in Business and Sports Management while becoming a four-time NCAA First Team All-American and captain of the University of Utah Ski Team. Although his own athletic dream was cut short, the experience shifted his passion entirely to coaching and fueled his drive to become one of the world's leading alpine ski coaches.

I helped start Redline to fill a gap in alpine ski racing for athletes who deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential within a truly professional, high-performance environment. Our mission is to provide world-class coaching, individualized support, and the resources athletes need to compete with the best in the world…without the constraints of a national federation.
My goal is to provide athletes with the unwavering support, honesty, and expertise they deserve so they can pursue their highest potential and achieve their goals.

Zane finished his senior year of high school at the Winter Sports School in Park City at 16 and started at Rennstall/Jans the same year, spending seven seasons across both the ski shop and the tune center. Rennstall is the premier Wintersteiger tune shop in Utah, always equipped with the top-of-the-line machines and tools in the industry.
His time at Rennstall led to his first gig as a technician with the U.S. Ski Team, serving three athletes (including Krupka) across all four disciplines on the men's D-team. The following two seasons he was with Jimmy on WRA; in the second he also tuned for Canadian racer Simon Fournier. This past season he was with Apex2100, based out of Tignes, France, working with the Europa Cup women's team as service for mainly three — and sometimes up to six — athletes at once.
